\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\tThe Television Academy has announced that Emmy winners Liza Col\u00f3n-Zayas (“The Bear”) and Jeff Hiller (“Somebody Somewhere”) will present the nominations for the 78th Emmy Awards on July 8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\tThe nominations ceremony will stream live from the Academy’s Wolf Theatre in the Saban Media Center on Emmys.com\/nominations at 8:30 a.m. PT. Television Academy Chair Cris Abrego will host the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\t“This year’s submissions reflect the undiminished creative range and vitality of our medium, celebrating both emerging talent and beloved creative voices who are shaping the future of the industry,” Abrego said in a statement. “We are thrilled to acknowledge these artists and storytellers whose work matters so deeply to audiences around the world. I’m delighted to welcome Liza and Jeff to usher in another exceptional Emmy celebration.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\tCol\u00f3n-Zayas won the Emmy for supporting comedy actress in 2024 for the FX restaurant dramedy “The Bear,” becoming the first Latina to win in the category. This summer, she returns for the fifth and final season of the series and appears in the upcoming summer blockbuster “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” opposite Tom Holland. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\tHiller won the Emmy for supporting comedy actor last year for HBO Max’s “Somebody Somewhere.” He can be seen this season in Apple’s “Widow’s Bay” and NBC’s “Stumble,” with guest roles on “Pluribus” and “Elsbeth.” He published his memoir “Actress of a Certain Age” in 2025 and recently wrapped his one-person show “Jeff Hiller is Basic.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\tThe Emmy race is as crowded and competitive<\/a> as ever, featuring heavyweight dramas such as “The Pitt” and “Pluribus,” standout comedies like “Widow’s Bay” and “Abbott Elementary,” and acclaimed limited series including “Beef” and “Love Story: John F. Kennedy and Carolyn Bessette.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\tNomination voting runs June 11-22. Final-round voting takes place Aug. 17-26 ahead of the Creative Arts Emmy Awards and Governors Gala on Sept. 5-6. The Primetime Emmy Awards will air Sept. 14 on NBC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
