• Camping gear + SHADE: We will have some shade infrastructure in the camping area. These require you to bring your own shade cloths/tarps/aluminet, etc., and attach with rope, clamps, or bungees. Pop-ups are good, too!

• Shade hat/visor

• Headlamp / lights for tent

• Yoga mat (for workshops)

• Ear plugs

• Lip balm

• Warm clothing/layers (depending on weather god smiting extremes)

• Food (we will provide yummy daytime and evening snacks on Friday and Saturday; catering orders are closed; onsite purchase options very limited

• Cash for food truck, ice (Ice is $10 per single 7 lb. bag, or $15 for two bags. Save yourself a trip AND help us break even! Sweet!!)

• Beverages (please stay hydrated and consider minimizing alcohol consumption–potable water is available throughout the property)

• Electrolytes

• Coffee / tea / creamer / sugar (we will provide various types of makers and an electric kettle)

• Plate, bowl, utensils, reusable water bottle and cup

• Kitchen kit (Everything you need to prepare and serve your own meals. We will provide one large two-burner gas stove, gas and charcoal for the BBQs, toaster, microwave, hot plate, electric kettle, and soap/sponges for washing station. Compost? YES you can!)

• Biodegradable soap for the outdoor hot showers

• Reef safe/biodegradable sunscreen (not mandatory but we, the pool/hot tub, and the environment would appreciate)

• Non-toxic bug spray

• Clean clothes in good shape for the Clothing Swap

• A piece of cush to share and then take back home! We need this for the chill space in the pool house and also the lounge off the main dance floor

• An open mind

• A loving spirit

• Your boogie shoes

KNOW:

• CODE OF CONDUCT & WAIVER: You must review and agree to abide by this code and waiver/minor waiver which you will need to sign at the gate. https://tinyurl.com/3degreesunison. WARNING! It’s possible the river will be rushing from snow melt. Please exercise your best judgment and take serious caution, especially when altered, when approaching or getting in/out and do not get in if there is any question it might be too fast or deep - best to cool off in the pool in that case. Children in or near the river must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

• RV AND CAR CAMPING: If you would like to camp in your RV or vehicle, or park your car at your campsite, you will need to purchase an RV or Car Camping pass. (Free parking is available in the parking lot.) A limited number of passes are still available on our ticket page, so please purchase yours today. There are no RV hookups on site, so fill your water tanks and charge your batteries before arrival. Generator use will be limited to the hours of 12 - 8:00 PM daily.

• AIR CONDITIONED SPACES: You will have access to indoor A/C at the Sun House (at the pool) during the day and the Medical Cabin around the clock.

• FINAL TICKET SALES: Online sales will end at 11:59 PM Wednesday, July 2. Financial aid requests will no longer be accepted as of 11:59 pm Tuesday, July 1, due to processing constraints. There will be a limited number of tickets (SIX [6] ONLY!) available at the gate if folks want to come at the last minute. CASH ONLY; FULL PRICE ($275); EXACT CHANGE!

• Smoking in designated areas only. Due to extreme fire danger, we have a zero-tolerance policy. We will ask you to leave the event if you are found smoking outside the designated area. Please carry a container for your butts. Vaping is okay anywhere.

• Camp stoves must be brought to the outdoor kitchen; no stoves in your camp!

• This is a Leave No Trace event; you must pack out your trash, recycling, and robot turds (we get fined for any found). We will provide trash bags at the gate.

• Groveland town is about a 20 minute drive away should you need anything before or during your stay

• COVID Policy: We strongly advise that you test before you arrive but it is not mandatory for entry. If you have any symptoms, please stay home even if you feel okay. If you develop any during your stay, please consider your health and that of your fellow campers and go home to rest. At the very least, please bring a mask and wear it, and wash your hands often. Other communicable infections are also encouraged to stay home, please.

• In case of fire, we have an evacuation plan

• We encourage you to pee in the woods if that’s an option for you (helps reduce porta-potty impact)

William from Ish & I Gourmet Foods will be cooking up delicious Philly cheese steaks, grilled meat salads (steak, chicken, salmon) and flat grilled breakfast options like eggs, home style potatoes, choice of meat, and toast. If you’ve got any dietary needs we suggest pre-ordering (vegan breakfast for instance) so he brings tofu and enough of the kinds of meals you want. Bring cash for the bonus snacks, too! He can take cards but the WiFi sitch is dodgy so cash is recommended; small bills are helpful.

IMPROVED HOT SHOWERS!

What glamping experience would be complete without hot showers? The outdoor shower stall setup at the venue now has improved privacy but, just like at Camp n Sons back in the day, there isn’t 100% privacy. Pallets are in place, new boards surround the stalls, and hot water will be hooked up. Booyah.

ICE FOR SALE!

What epic party would be complete without a way to keep it chill! We’ll have an ice truck with 7lb bags for sale from 10am - 12pm and 4 - 6pm Friday and Saturday. We are paying a holiday premium for this service so please be prepared to pay $10 - $12 a bag. We know that’s expensive but it literally *just* covers our cost. *CASH ONLY*!

All the summer campouts and festivals have been struggling in recent years with increasingly low attendance. It’s gotten to the point some are being forced to cancel events this year and even permanently end renowned decades-long runs as it’s become more and more financially unfeasible to continue.

Our event and joint collective are not immune to this trend and it didn’t help that the necessitated venue change increased our costs by approximately 50%. We need to sell 125 more tickets in order to bring this magic alive and not jeopardize our community’s future. This isn’t just about the funds; this is also about the critical mass of energy — your energy — required to support the high vibration we’re known for and keep it thriving throughout the weekend. We all want a successful, epic event so please invite your loved ones and liked ones, encourage them not to delay purchasing tickets, encourage yourself not to delay—whatever it takes! As much love as we are all pouring into this, love indeed is not enough, and we can’t make it happen without funds. While we’re getting there, we are still quite short.

Please help keep this community — which we are all so grateful for and blessed to have — going, by being in community. There are folks who have generously chipped in extra to help ease the burden for those who may be feeling more financial strain lately. No need for that strain to be a barrier to your attendance. We want your beautiful self there first and foremost so please reach out to us at tickets@3degreessf.com if you want to come but need some assistance.

Ultimately, if we don’t break even, we will break the bank. Fundraising or folding entirely (meaning no more campouts from 3 Degrees + Unison for the foreseeable future) are the only two remaining options. As before, you may still reserve RV passes. However, due to the location change, if you want to park at your campsite, we now require car camping passes, which are $25. Parking in the parking lot is free. This means you drive up to your spot, unload, and repark in the lot. Due to the previous location policy which allowed free car camping, we are granting existing ticket holders a car camping pass; we will contact you separately to arrange.

We’re looking for a new caterer who can implement the existing meal plan, or as close as possible. We will remain in touch with everyone about this; please stay tuned. This is only one of many spinning plates (quasi-pun intended).

We are reaching out to share important news about Secret Garden, our upcoming campout July 3-6, 2025. While we kept the location of the event somewhat hidden, we now have to change to a similar beautiful and inviting location due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. That sounds like a canned corporate response but it’s our reality. We understand people might have a lot of questions or concerns but please know our incredible crew is and handling it like the pros we are. If you were aware of the old or new venue, this may change your impression in some small ways.

The new venue, Spinning Wheel, will be familiar to many of you. For those who have not been there, Spinning Wheel is in the foothills of Yosemite about 3 hours east of Oakland. It has an abundance of beautiful vistas, a swimming pool and ample space for camping. They’ve successfully hosted a multitude of campouts and we are excited to bring Secret Garden there.

While we see Spinning Wheel as an equally wonderful location for our magical campout, we understand this may change your plans. If you have already purchased tickets and have questions or would like a refund, please email tickets@3degreessf.com.

We’re reaching out to remind everyone that ticket sales will begin Thursday, March 20th – on the Spring Equinox! A limited number of early-bird tickets will be available starting at $199. For kids 12 and under, tickets will be available for $99. We love the wee ones!

Catered meals will be available at the event on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and may be purchased in advance on the ticketing page. A limited amount of food may be available for purchase onsite, but there is no guarantee, so order yours early!

There will be plenty of shaded camping areas. Of course, bringing extra shade is always a good idea! You may bring your car, pickup truck, or van (under 20 feet in length) for free. If you would like to bring an RV or trailer, passes are available for $50-75.

The campout will be held July 3-6, 2025, at a secret location near Lake Tahoe. We cannot disclose location information until close to the time of the event, and we ask that everyone join us in maintaining overall privacy of the event.

We will be sending information on how to get involved by joining our planning team as a coordinator, volunteering at the event, or leading a workshop. If you are interested in DJing, we will also send out details on how to apply soon.

We are SOLD OUT (but now we’re not)

As of today, we reached our original ticket cap! However, we have increased the cap a little bit. So if you know someone that needs a ticket, now is the time. Have a ticket to spare? Post about it on FB event or to our google group.

Remember you can prepurchase a Saturday brunch (omelette on toast), and a burrito/taco/bowl bar for Saturday night. Any food allergies can be accommodated if she’s told in advance. You can sign up for one or both meals.

$20 for dinner, $10 for breakfast, or $28 for both. Payment via Venmo (friends and family please or add $5).

In the Venmo memo, state your name/s email, type of tortillas (flour or corn), and any food allergies or accommodations you would like. Such as no dairy, veg, vegan, Gf, nightshade allergy, etc. Debi will purchase the amounts of vegan cheese, veggies, and tortilla selection based upon responses. Thank you!

We Still Need Volunteers (and Popup Shade)

We are in need of volunteers still especially for Site Coordinator, Strike, and Stage Manager.

• The stage manager role is mostly ensuring DJs have everything they need before and during their sets. If there’s a technical problem, you can try to help resolve it but even if you’re not technically inclined, then your job is to get in touch with someone on the sound crew (you’ll always find them nearby).

• Site coordinator slots left are late night ones. For the most part, while the role is “running the party”, you will have a partner and your job will be to find someone to help address issues. We are in need of people on Saturday night. We understand this is a time when most don’t want to volunteer but also know that during these hours, you’ll very likely have a coordinator nearby who can assist.

• We’ve added a few more strike slots. People who are helping with strike can stay later!

• We’re also looking for people to help with truck unloading in Berkeley on Monday afternoon.

While there are some cooking facilities on site, we also have an optional meal plan for anyone interested courtesy of Debi from Asiento! The meals are a Saturday brunch (omelette on toast), and a burrito/taco/bowl bar for Saturday night. Any food allergies can be accommodated if she’s told in advance. You can sign up for one or both meals.

$20 for dinner, $10 for breakfast, or $28 for both. Payment via venmo (friends and family please or add $5). If we don’t have 100 takers the cost could go up a little as the hard costs are fixed. I’ll just have a jar at the meals you can toss a few bucks in if that’s the case.

Call for Workshops and Activities

Unison was born out of multiple communities joining together during one of the toughest times. We’d love to build more on the community by including workshops and activities. The intention is to build community, inclusivity, belonging, and learn how to be better humans for ourselves and with others.

Share your knowledge about your special interest with your community! Here are some examples:

• Microbiology of fungus

• Trans challenges and how to be an ally

• Relating games

• Yoga/movement

• Clothing swap

Do you have another way you would like to participate in building community? We would love to hear from you! Please let us know if you have an activity you would like to share or lead in our workshop and interactivity form.

Call for Volunteers

Unison is powered by YOU. We need volunteers for everything from stage management to dinner prep to greeting. Here’s a description of what each role entails.

We encourage everyone to sign up for at least two shifts if possible. If you have a question about whether a role is right for you, you can contact campout@unison.stream. For the most part, no experience is necessary with the exceptions of Site Coordinator and Stage Manager.

To sign up, you will need to have purchased a ticket and sign into / create an account on coda (you’ll see a link to do so in the page). We update the attendee list periodically so if you just got your ticket and don’t see your name yet, check back!

Financial Aid

Through generous donations from other attendees, we have a limited pool of funds to gift towards helping with campout ticket costs for those in need of financial aid. This assistance is granted through evaluating a combination of contribution (past and present) towards Unison and 3 Degrees and the upcoming campout and general participation of the community.

If you would like to attend and are in need of financial aid, please fill out this form by 11:59pm Jun 6th, 2023. Applications are processed on an ongoing basis.

Want to help people attend the campout? You can go to your ticket link (or if you haven’t bought your ticket, the purchase ticket link) to add funds through purchasing the add-on “Help a Unison performer/volunteer attend!”

RV/Trailer Camping

If you plan on camping with an RV or trailer, please fill out this form so we can plan space accordingly. Important details we need are the size of the camper and whether you plan on using a generator. Thank you!
