What's the problem?
Hi, thank you for developing WhatCable.
I noticed that the WhatCable menu bar item takes up quite a lot of horizontal space on macOS.
As shown in the attached screenshot, the app displays:
- Power adapter icon
- Charging wattage, such as “86W”
- A relatively large amount of spacing between the elements
On MacBooks with many menu bar apps, this occupies valuable menu bar space.
Would it be possible to add a more compact display option, for example:
- Reduce the spacing between the icon and wattage
- Use a smaller or narrower charging icon
- Allow users to hide the icon and display only “86W”
- Allow users to hide the wattage and display only the icon
- Add a “Compact menu bar mode”

Environment:
- macOS 26
- WhatCable version: [填入你的版本]
- Device: MacBook Pro
Thank you!
